The romantic essence of a bygone era was beautifully captured when I saw an old bicycle leaning against a fence in a overgrown garden. Even though the bike is from days gone by, the sun shines on it today and the roots of the garden keep it connected to its past.

Inspired by Van Gogh, this was the very first watercolour I created with new quality watercolours that I received as a gift for Christmas. It is, by far, my own personal favourite. Vincent Van Gogh lights my artistic fire. Despite struggling with mental health problems, he was able to create such beautiful work. He gave me so much hope when I was in my darkest times.
